On January 27, 2017, President Trump issued an Executive Order (EO) entitled "Protecting the Nation from Foreign Terrorist Entry into the United States<https://www.whitehouse.gov/the-press-office/2017/01/27/executive-order-protecting-nation-foreign-terrorist-entry-united-states>" that instituted a 90-day ban that suspended visa issuance and entry to the United States for citizens of Iran, Iraq, Syria, Libya, Somalia, Sudan and Yemen. Since its initial issuance, the White House provided guidance that the Executive Order does not apply to legal permanent residents (greencard holders) of the U.S.

To provide updated information to the UCLA campus community and demystify any confusion about the EO, the Dashew Center will co-host an ‘EO Debrief and Information Session’ with Bernard Wolfsdorf, Immigration Attorney (Wolfsdorf Rosenthal LLP) next Wednesday, February 8th.
